Training Support Admin

This position is an important element of Admiral's Training to include DCJS certification, supervisory training and all related aspects of security officer support for all assigned regions. This position is designated as essential personnel. The position is a member of the divisional management team and has appropriate authority to direct, discipline and supervise employees in the performance of their duties. The Training Support Manager reports to the DVP or Director, Support Services. This position is salaried exempt.

• Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with Admiral and client policies, procedures, and standards. Ensures compliance with regulatory requirements and laws. Inspections are primarily conducted after normal business hours (i.e., nights and weekends) at the discretion of the Division Manager, Support Services and the Vice President of Support Services. These inspections must be properly documented, and summary reports should be prepared weekly.
•  Conduct full scale site audits for accounts or portfolios as deemed necessary by the Division Manager, Support Services and/or the Vice President of Support Services. Audits include a thorough review of training requirements, post orders, employee morale, licensing requirements, time and attendance records, contractual compliance, contractual deliverables, and other items as directed.
• Develop and submit DCJS Training schedules/rosters to DCJS in a timely manner.
• Assist regions in ensuring all current employees are compliant and properly scheduled for O1I and o1E
• Track and communicate (proactively) compliance and training needs for regions
• Conduct O1I, O1E and CSO training
• Consult with the Director of Training, Director of Operations, DVP and Regional Managers
• Maintain Uniform and related field equipment inventory, order and stock uniforms and place urgent need orders.
• Monitor and maintenance of the TekWave Reporting System (programming of RFID buttons and equipment tracking for CVA)
• Deliver, expand on and continually develop Admiral Specialized Training in consultation with Director of Training and DVP on (ACE, Supervisor Development and any training programs developed that are beneficial for the regions.)
• Support Director of Training with coordination and communication with the DCJS on related issues, inquires
• Test and review any relevant created materials from Admiral Corporate
• Maintain a database of all training materials, compliance and quality assurance.
• Instruct employee training and assist HR Coordinator with onboarding
• Conduct training through new materials as presented from Admiral Corporate (when/if applicable)
• Assist (as directed by Director or DVP) quality assurance support and site visits
• Assist with Post Order Development under direction of Director of Operations
• Other duties as assigned.

The ideal candidate must:

• Be able to work independently with minimal oversight.
• Have working knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word and MS Outlook
• Experience with post order development
• Job will be primarily 0830 to 1630 Monday to Friday, but will involve travel, possible weekend work and adjustment of hours to support start-ups and needs for the regions that may present themselves from time-to-time
• Be able to communicate effectively, both in writing and orally, with security officers, managers and senior leaders to convey findings of audits and inspections.
• Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and driving record acceptable to the company.
• Must possess excellent interpersonal skills. Be able to meet all background requirements.
• Must be able to become a CPR/AED certified instructor. Position requires knowledge of technology (Tablets, cell phones).
• Must be able to obtain and maintain Security licenses for CVA area.
• Position requires work inside and outside in varying temperatures. This position requires standing for prolonged periods of time (90%), walking, bending and some lifting. A portion of this position may require sitting in front of a computer for prolonged periods of time. Position will require driving.
