Responsibilities

 

This is an unarmed security officer position.  The selected candidate will be trained to have complete knowledge of the property where he/she is assigned, to include facilities, post orders, emergency contact lists, emergency procedures, special instructions, and all post duties. This position is an overnight position at a location in Tappahannock Virginia. The hours are 9pm to 7am on Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights. 

 

The selected candidate may:

  • Assure proper use, and maintenance of all equipment used at the site by assigned officers (keys/key cards, cell phones, radios, wands, etc.).
  • Write reports and sign-in sheets to ensure clarity, completeness, accuracy, and legibility.
  • Review Post orders periodically and report any major disciplinary problems or complaints of discrimination, sexual harassment, or unfair labor practices to the Senior Management immediately
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

The candidate must:

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Have a high school diploma or GED.
  • Possess exceptional customer service skills.
  • Be able to multitask.
  • Must have reliable transprotation
  • Be able to work outisde in all weather conditions.
  • Be able to stand and walk for long periods of time
