Overview

Admiral Security Services headquartered in Bethesda, MD is looking for an experienced, energetic and innovative Security Portfolio Manager with a proven record of success managing guard forces. The Portfolio Manager is responsible for working with the Vice President of Security Operations to manage the  Reston Town Center contract in Reston Virginia. Ideal candidate will have 5+ years of Security Management experience. Direct liaison between the client and the company.

Responsibilities

  • Liaison between Admiral Security Services Management and the client, keeping both parties abreast of changes at the site as needed.
  • Responsible for assuring continuity of the security services by training all security personnel in accordance with the established training program and standard operating procedures.  Manage and monitor training programs.
  • Ensure that all personnel are competent in the execution of all assigned tasks described in the training program to ensure client and employee satisfaction.
  • Take ownership of the position by taking the initiative to resolve client and employee issues in a timely, effective, enthusiastic and professional manner.
  • Perform in such manner as to further our partnership with the client.
  • Work closely with on site supervisors to assure all reports and assignments are completed in a detailed, concise and factual manner.
  • Manage time and other responsibilities to assure Admiral Management, client and employee requests are properly prioritized.
  • Manage overtime to assure monthly budget goals are met.
  • Set performance goals for Supervisors and officers.
  • Fill open shifts with a focus on minimizing over-time.
  • Assure supervisors and officers are creating the proper atmosphere for tenants and guests per the account standards.
  • Be able to make the human connection with team-members and guests, assuring security team provide exceptional customer service.
  • Seek to mentor motivated officers toward promotion opportunities.
  • Oversee and implement safety program and take the necessary steps to reduce or eliminate all workplace injuries.
  • Review and provide final approval for all timesheets, correcting errors as appropriate.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

 

  • Must have at least Five (5) years in security management.  Commercial Security Experience Managing a large multi-building facility is preferred. Experience in the armed forces, retail, hospitality or customer service may also be considered.

  • Must be at least 21 yrs. old

  • Must possess a high school diploma or GED

  • Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft bundle of programs with an emphasis on Outlook, Word and Excel

  • Must possess confidence in operating the onsite computer hardware post training and be able to resolve minor system glitches

  • Must have attended and successfully completed Admiral leadership training within 6 months of being in position

  • Must possess exceptional customer service skills

  • Must be detailed oriented and able to identify discrepancies quickly

  • Must be willing to exceed the client/customer expectation

  • Must have flexibility. On call 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
