Responsibilities

  • Build, improve and maintain relationships with clients and employees, develop staff, and coordinate needed support services to effectively run the portfolio and meet or exceed financial and operational goals of the assigned account(s). Individual’s performance will be evaluated based on, but not limited to, achieving financial goals, developing staff and on providing quality customer service
  • Supervise day-to-day operations of the assigned region
  • Communicate staff needs via Requisition Form; assist recruiters in identifying, interviewing and hiring quality candidates
  •  Develop staff in both technical and professional skills through performance management (coaching, counseling, disciplining, training, annual formal performance evaluations, recognition, etc.)
  •  Assure that employee grievances are heard and resolved (with help from appropriate Support employees, as required) and that personnel records are updated and accurate (Change of Status forms, rosters, etc.)
  •  Assure communication of policies, company announcements and job openings
  •  Investigate any reports that warrant, and notify your supervisor on events that Admiral Management needs to know about
  • Develop and implement Security/Life Safety procedures
  • Company policy requires that records be kept of transactions.  The Site Supervisor must maintain all Daily Logs, Incident Reports, etc…
  • Liaison with Local, State and Federal Law Enforcement as needed
  • Provides the basis of a great place to work by treating staff with respect
  • Meet all contractual scheduled hours with a minimum of unbilled overtime
  •  Coordinate and/or conduct site-specific OJT, client-specific training, and annual refresher training for security personnel, as well as meet Admiral's training standards
  •  Reconcile security logs against shift responsibilities and patrols; review incident reports prior to submitting to client and coordinate preliminary investigations
  •  Perform account audits and off-hour visits, completing required documentation
  •  Develop / maintain operational procedures so that a valid, site-specific OPM and Post Orders are always available for emergency reference by the security staff
  •  Manage uniforms, equipment, supplies & vehicles utilized at the account, maintaining appropriate inventories and maintenance checklists
  •  Take a proactive role in communicating with the client and meeting their needs; meet regularly, listen to issues, provide security and technical expertise and solutions. Ensure complete customer satisfaction
  •  Be responsible for assigned account(s) and security personnel seven days a week. Although supervision is in place, the Account Manager will be provided a cell phone to facilitate emergency around-the-clock contact. All calls must be responded to promptly

 

 

Administrative Management

 

  •  Efficiently interface with District and support staff and negotiate realistic deadlines for   needed services
  •  Administer site safety program, workers’ compensation and risk management programs as appropriate to the site and Corporate procedures
  •  Participate in unemployment hearings, as needed
  •  Capably to utilize BOETA for scheduling and payroll
  •  Enforce Admiral Policies as outlined by the handbooks and executive memos
  •  Manage annual budget and meet account financial goals including gross profit, overtime, and payroll accuracy. These will be greatly impacted by high employee retention / low turnover
  • Manager is responsible for the payroll of all Security Officers assigned to his facility.  Any variations in contract time, overtime, training or lost hours, must be explained on the payroll recap
  • To reprimand or to have a Security Officer terminated the Security Officer must have been counseled and asked to sign an Employee Performance Report.  This form is to be used on every infraction and sent to Operations to be placed in the Security Officer’s personnel file.  Documentation is critical.  Security Officers will not be told they are to be terminated by Site Supervisors.  The individual will be told to report to the Operations Manager, District Manager or Human Resource Manager
  • Manager will assist Admiral in the collection on any invoices not paid by client
  • Manger will assist in preparation of annual budgets

Qualifications

 

  • Must be at least 21 years of age or as appropriate to state or contractual obligations
  • High school diploma, 4 year college or Military or Law Enforcement Experience
  • At least 10 years verifiable employment
  • 5 years verifiable supervisory experience in same type position
  • No criminal convictions as specified under Admiral Guidelines
  • Ability to read, write and speak English clearly
  • Able to provide proof of ability to work in the United States
  • Ability to perform essential functions of the position without accommodation
  • Ability to interact with all levels of Admiral Employees and the public in a direct, timely and professional manner
  • Ability to deal with internal and external customers and to ensure compliance with fair employment practices
  • Ability to work under stress
  • Ability to maintain regular attendance to ensure avoidance of unpredictable, frequent and/or ongoing tardiness
  • No negative result on pre-employment drug screen
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Must be proficient in the use of Outlook, and Excel Computer programs
  • Available (accessible) 24/7 / flexible work schedule
  • Financial / mathematical aptitude
